I'm ok!

Well, I'm not going blind, so Yay! Not that I *really* feared that I was (not *really*). I just got back from the eye Dr.'s and everything is mostly fine. Before I got my eye surgery, I used to have really watery eyes. It seemed like my eyes were always tearing up, but after the surgery that went away. I thought it was kind of nice to not always be wiping tears away, but apparently it was a little too much, because my eyes have been too dry. The feeling of having an eyelash in my eye that I mentioned? Apparently what I was really feeling were little scabs on my eye (caused perhaps because my eyes are too dry, or maybe I sleep with my eyes open a little and they're rubbing against my pillow). The shooting pain I felt yesterday? One of the scabs getting stuck to an eye lid and being pulled off when I blinked.

Anyways, he didn't seem to think it was that serious. He gave me a prescription for some special drops (actually, it's salt water, which stings like a bitch when you put them in) to keep my eye dry while these scabs heal for the next week or so. They want my eyes dry for this so that I won't tear anymore scabs off, then I move onto a lubricating eye drop and I should just give myself some drops every night before I go to bed to stop this from happening in the future.

So, freak out for nothing. :) I had totally started freaking out even more since I spent a large part of the morning really dizzy, but I think that's because I'm coming down with a cold. My throat was feeling weird earlier in the week, and I think I might have a bit of a temperature, but mostly I was just feeling dizzy and blamed it on the eye thing. I took some Advil though and I'm feeling much better now so I came back to work after my eye appointment.
